    Uh oh..
I think I found the main source of the problem..
Whenever I insert a USB drive or an external hard drive or a DVD or anything, the computer deducts the space used up of the device from my own computer hard drive
Guess the problem isn't solved yet..?
    Help please.
    Thanks again.

EDIT: I'm gonna install Windows 8 and then see if the problem still occurs.

One possibility is that some sync is going on. Check that in the sync center:

    • Open Sync Center by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Sync Center.
    • Right-click the sync partnership that you want to end, and then click Delete - if there is any

Hmm, Look into the Startup programs whether there is any program that could be doing that.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that you didn't actually format the drive, but install one OS on top of the other, and that's where these strange issues are coming from. Either that, or someone else has access to use your computer besides just you.

Uncheck all of those, they do not need to start with Windows but they will still work just fine. I think you should password your account and not give it to anyone.
