Welcome to the forums!
Yes , as ICit2lol said, some spec.'s would help a lot. The touchpads on Asus machines are notoriously cranky/bad. ( I love my Asus G74Sx so not slamming Asus) On any given day theres at least 2 or more issues with them on their RoG forum. Mine was so ...... out of whack..... that I just disabled it in bios. I know this isn't an option for all though. Asus uses two different brands of touchpad, please excuse me for asking this, but did you get the driver
for the right one?
You could also try a sfc/scannow to double check the integrity of system files, though I doubt that thats your problem. (heres a link to a tutorial on how to do that.) :SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
I really don't recommend Asus's forums either, their customer service is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. (RoG forums are a little better but not much) Their "solution" to 98% of problems is to RMA your machine.
