Print spooler needs restart after every document

Windows 7 - 64 bit, HP desktop. I have a local HP printer (HP6510) wireless and a network printer. Once I restart the print spooler, I can print to either printer, no problem. But, after each and every document, if I try to print a new document, nothing happens. If I open the printer it shows that the document is 'printing' but nothing is actually printed. If I go run 'services.msc' and find the print spooler and restart it, then the document will print. It doesn't matter how many pages, because the whole document will print. BUT, the next time I want to print another document, I have to restart again and do this every time I print something. I have set the spooler to 'restart' after all three failures, I have tried setting the reset count to 0 days and restart after 0 minutes, I have tried manual and automatic startup, all with the same result. What would be causing this? I have another HP desktop and the spooler settings are identical the way the other PC spooler was (defauly, which I have since restored anyway) and I have no problems printing to either printer from the second PC.

    Hello Bill,

You might see if resetting and clearing the print spooler queue on the PCs that you are having this issue with may be able to help.

Print Spooler Queue - Clear and Reset

    Hope this helps, :)
