Turbo Boost UI Monitor Driver. Can I disable, or continue let enable?

Hello all, i'm as you can tell a new user to this website, registering at X time today. The reason I started this thread is that I needed some help on a particular driver component that I just don't know how to deal with, lately I've been disabling certain driver's on my machine for any potential performance gain's, to be more specific in the overall and gaming aspect's.

Whilst looking around the Non-Plug and Play Driver Section of my laptop's Device Manager list, I found something that I assumed was related to something that I had uninstalled prior to the finding of what i'm about to mention, the Turbo Boost UI Monitor Driver, I had thought it related to the pre-installed software (Now uninstalled) Turbo Boost Monitor, however, I didn't just accept that conclusion and outright disable or uninstall the device, no, what I did was look, look and look through-out the web and as an end result, or rather lack of result's, found absolutely jack.

So, what I hope to gain from this thread is possibly the help of those whom know what Turbo Boost UI Monitor Driver is, doe's it serve any critical function, is it related to the aforementioned uninstalled Turbo Boost Monitor software and most importantly, can I disable the thing without breaking my computer?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank You in Advance.

I would disable it if your not using the monitor. I think it's just for the intel gadget. If not or if it causes problems you can just reenable it

Intel Turbo Boost Monitor is anoying

Ahh thank you, will do that later tonight. As for Intel Turbo Boost Monitor, yeah, it is pretty annoying. Had processor spike's at one point for a'while when I had first bought and started using my laptop, was the Turbo Boost Monitor technology that had done it.

In any case, thank's for the help, really appreciate it.

Turbo boost monitor is actually a Windows gadget that shows the clock speed of your CPU in real time. It's primary purpose is to show the user turbo boost in action. When you do a cpu intensive task, the cpu is temporarily overclocked. It shows you that. Pretty useless. Throw it away.

    Hope that helps.
