I used Partition Wizard, which was able to display HD's correct size and let me partition it. However, even after I re-partition it in NTFS, it is still not good once I log into Windows 7. The same thing, the HD is not displayed, and it displays a wrong size (500GB) under Disk Manager....

Can you give us a screen shot snip of it ?

Start Computer Management Disk Management
Maximize to full screen
Take a Snip of it with the Snipping Tool, Save snip, then upload the snip here in your post.

I'm confused. This is a thread I started, but I see Santiodarc responding in my place lol... *Edit: Nevermind. S/he removed the post. Must have been a mistake.

The second screenshot is from Partition Wizard. As you can see, HD is listed normally there.

Are you sure that both cables are properly in place? The partition Wizard sees it but that is from a Boot disk, Correct? It may be worth it to check. I am at a loss now..

I think you need to boot the computer from the Partition Wizard disc. Then delete the old XP HD partition, then recreate a partition on it again, & then format it again in partition Wizard. Then reboot into Win7 & see what it looks like.
