Can't format my USB pen drive

    Hello,
Here is my problem. When i want to format my USB pendrive, the message shows "The disk is write protected".
I tried the registry method and problem not solved. Any other method to figure out? Thank you for your response. :)

    Hi maafia

Did you go to this registry

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Double click the key WriteProtect in the right pane and set the value to 0
In the Data Value Box, press OK
Exit Registry, restart your computer and then re-connect your USB pen drive to your computer.
