    USB ports are not working

Some of my USB ports does not work, the front two isn't working, and only a few in the back works ( i have a desktop not a laptop). When i plug in my Xbox 360 controller the lights would turn green on the Xbox home button but then it would immediately turn off again. I doubt it's disconnected because this problem occured randomly when i never opened my desktop, except for the 2 in the front. I found this error and i think it has something to do with it just because it mentions USB . It says that window has stopped using this device because it reported a problem "error code 43". I know the front usb ports are probably disconnected but i'm just trying to fix the one in the back, because it has more then enough which is 5, but only 3 is working.. the other 2 isn't. Any help would be appreciated.
