    printing small


    Hello i am having a problem with my printer .it prints small on a scale of 2 to 40 it prints about 8.
    even if i have it on screen at 20 it is large on screen but small when it prints.i have a,
    Brother J513W.about 6 month's old. it as printed normally in the past so why it should suddenly do this is a mystery. even when i click print preview it is so small i can hardy read it.can anyone help.

    Hi there what applications are you using to print ? Have you tried to print a test page ?

    Hi Maxie thanks for replying. i am running windows 7,64 bit. and yes i tried a test print and it came out ok.the heading was large (as you would want it) and the wording was good.so i can't understand why it prints small.

    Moning Maxi just a document i made for a bowling meeting. wrote it in Abiword.it as always come out ok
    .except now ???. by the way i have just installed a programme called , EXPATSHIELD.i was told it,
    is a security programme.

    Good Morning try printing from Word Pad make sure it is set to 100% in the print preview page Do you have the software that came with your printer? As for EXPATSHIELD have never used it myself .

    hello again Maxie.i tried printing from Wordpad and it worked.printed all sizes. then i tried again on Abiword,
    and it came out small i then tried again set it 48 on the screen, and it came out about 12. so i am going to uninstall it and reinstall it see if that helps. anyway thanks for all your help.
