DVDRAM not showing up in the explorer
A strange problem.
My DVD writer is not showing up in the explorer. I have checked all the cables and the optical drive in other functional computers...which show it is running fine.
The problem lies in my original comp.
I checked the device manager. It shows the device driver is not properly installed ...so installed it completely, restarted and then checked. (please see snap.jpg)
I checked the drivers for the device in the internet and tried to install it...again failed. It says "can't find the drive"...(please see snap1)
Every time I delete the driver file from System32 folder, it shows the corrupt (if that is the case) file again. (please see the snap2.jpg).
I even tried to update the driver from selecting the device from device manager section. Strangely it says driver is up-to-date. (please see snap3.jpg)
Can anyone give me any solution?
