Wireless keyboard 2000 usb holder?

    Wireless keyboard 2000 usb holder?


    On the underside of the MS Wireless Keyboard 2000, inside the battery door, there is a slot for a small USB thumb drive. There is no connectivity for it, simply a holder/keeper.
    Anybody know why it might be there?

hi my keyboard is stuck to only one usb port. i.e. if i install it in any other port .. the windows hard ware detection comes and it says installing driver for my keyboard then it says "no driver found".. it only works if i attach it to that port . sometimes some keys like o ; 6 don't work...
