Hi I was Just Starting Minecraft The Other Day And I Got The BSOD! I Restarted And Now My Mouse Does Not Carry Out Commands And Functions Properly (eg. Left Click=Right Click)! This Is On My External And Built In Mouse! Please Help, Thanks!!
Do you mean this is a laptop and the problem is with the touch pad?
To start, open Device Manager and see if the touchpad is listed, and is "functioning properly" under it's Properties.
Start > Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Device Manager > Mice and Other Pointing Devices > Expand (+) > Right Click > Properties > Device Status
They Are All Functioning Properly But It Cant Just Be The Mouse As The Wired USB Mouse And The In-Built One Both So The Same!
I understand. We just need to determine if the drivers for the devices are installed and working properly.
If yes we go one way, if no we go another.
Did you check the Device Manager?
Yes and i also uninstalled and re installed the drivers and its still the same!
Do you recall what the title of the Bluescreen was? Was this the first time you have seen the Bluescreen?
And this may seem like a odd question, but I must: have you shut down the laptop completely and then restarted it yet?
If this was the first time then the simplest first step would be to perform a System Restore to a point before the problem began.
One other note: Normally a bluescreen does not cause a hardware malfunction. It is actually the hardware malfunction that causes the bluescreen.
I Do Not remember the title but i have shut down and restarted loads!
How do i upload the .dmp file for the bsod??
There are detailed instructions in the Crashes & Debugging forum. Plus there are people there who can read the dump files for you (That stuff is beyond me).
