Keyboard not working in BIOS

Hi , my laptop`s keyboard is broken so I am using a usb computer type one . Now , I am trying to install windows 7 but the keyboard does not work in BIOS menu , is there any way I can install it other way ? Or how can I make my usb keyboard work in BIOS ? Thank You

I know some computers have issues with connecting USB as it decides to do that after POST. Most of the time a PS/2 keyboard will boot up first.

Have you tried all the USB ports on the Laptop? On some PC's specific USB ports should be used for keyboards (and mice).
