Connecting PC to Android Tablet via USB

I'm trying to connect my Pc to my new Android Tablet. I connect the PC to the Tablet thru USB. I then turn on the Tablet. I see additional drives (2) but it says I have to put disks in them. The first time I saw five drivers being added: 1) USB Composite Device 2) USB Mass Storage Device 3) Alcatel Android ADB Interface 4) USB 2.0 USB FlashDriver USB Device 5) USB 2.0 USB Flashdriver USB Device. I'm assuming the two new drives are 4 & 5. When I go to system manager it says: Android Phone. What am I doing wrong? I really thought I could see what was in the tablet and then copy files to it.

    Thanks for your help.

You should be able to copy files to and from. Maybe you are missing the Windows driver for the device.

I thought the Alcatel Android ADB Interface might be that driver!! How do I go about finding the correct driver?

    Thanks

Would love to help you but I really don't know. Here are specialized Android/Alcatel forums. Browse down on the webpage and click on the device which correponds to your's. Then you are on the right forum. They probably would know.
