Transferring files to hard drive in one go

Normally when we transfer files to an external hard drive, we just drag and drop.

To transfer files from many different locations, we may need to drag and drop a few times.

IS there a software that enables us to select all the files we want to transfer, and then initiate the transfer, transferring all the files in one go.

Teracopy can probably do what you want. Also verifies files after transferring to make sure they didn't get corrupted.

I used to use Teracopy but when I was transferring files recently from the HDD in my old computer to a HDD in the new one, Teracopy would bog down horribly, even when I broke up the amount being transferred at any one time to smaller amounts. Occasionally, it would crash the destination drive and I would have to reformat it and start over. I finally ditched Teracopy and just did a copy/paste.
