    Computer is not recognizing all my ram memory


    Hello, I have 4 slots with 2Gbs ram which means 8Gbs, but my system is only recognizing 4GBS.
    Please someone help!
    OS:windows 7 ultimate x86(32 bit)
    CPU:Core 2 duo e8200

    Memory Limits for Windows Releases (Windows)

    The maximum amount of RAM supported by any 32 bit version of Win7 is 4GB. Not all of that is usually available to Windows, though.

    If you want 8GB, you'll need to switch to X64. No upgrade-in-place is possible; you'll have to do a clean install, which means re-installing all of your applications.

    About the only good news is that you can use your present license key with a 64 bit copy.
