Windows 7: Subwoofer makes Mouse go Crazy!

15 Oct 2009   #11

Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit

Not sure if this matters, but could it be caused by the subwoofers magnet? I'm not sure how powerful the G51's magnet is but I know my Z-5500 sub came with an obnoxiously large warning sticker about the magnet + electronics.

Lol, this happened to me. The Lachesis is very sensitive to vibrations. Just move your sub-woofer.

I just watched the clip. Are you using your sub-woofer as your mouse table? No wonder it's bloody well jumping

Double Edit:

I just read the rest of thread and realised it's not your clip
It's still a vibration issue though.

yeah, just move the subwoofer, to reduce the vibrations.

the inverse square law comes into play here, so if you move it twice as far away, the vibes will be reduced to a quarter...

if there's no room to move the woofer, then you'll have to use some low-cut eq.

something to lower the extreme bottom bass end...

eq = equaliser

low-cut = cut or reduce low frequencies
