Subwoofer makes Mouse go Crazy!

Hi, i really need help.
I just bought a razer Lachesis, and my subwoofer makes it go nuts.
You can't believe how hard it was to open firefox and sevenforums :P.
What can i do to remove this craziness? Like, i didn't want to decrease DPI.

Alex we could use more info. keyboard wireless, or bluetooth? Sub woofer wired or wireless? when does it do it? all the time sometmes,etc?

Could be many things but I would start by looking at WHERE the wires to the sub go. are they near any others. Are they shielded. Is the power outlet 3 prongs.

Then I would start looking at interference. Is the a source of RF (radio frequencies near) A cab company, baby monitor, walkie talkies, wireless IPODS, eyc

hope this helps. I will listen to that again later when I can run it thru a spectrum analyser

I had this problem too. Seemed to only occur with their drivers installed.

It would appear from your video that you are using your sub-woofer as a table on which you have your mousemat and mouse. Vibrations coming from the speaker (even the inaudible hum that is present when there is no signal) can be picked up by an optical mouse that is placed on top of it, especially if the mouse is highly sensitive. The strong (and changing) magnetic field associated with these speakers can also affect RF signals to and from the mouse (if yours is that type of mouse).

I would strongly advise that you choose a different surface on which to operate your mouse.

No, the video isn't mine. It was only for illustration, see i use it on the desk normally, not on top of the subwoofer.

And,I wanted Full DPI, cause i didn't buy a 85 $ Mouse to use it like an ordinary one :(

Not sure if this matters, but could it be caused by the subwoofers magnet? I'm not sure how powerful the G51's magnet is but I know my Z-5500 sub came with an obnoxiously large warning sticker about the magnet + electronics.

Lol, this happened to me. The Lachesis is very sensitive to vibrations. Just move your sub-woofer.

EDIT:

I just watched the clip. Are you using your sub-woofer as your mouse table? No wonder it's bloody well jumping :D

I just read the rest of thread and realised it's not your clip :o
It's still a vibration issue though.

yeah, just move the subwoofer, to reduce the vibrations.

the inverse square law comes into play here, so if you move it twice as far away, the vibes will be reduced to a quarter...

if there's no room to move the woofer, then you'll have to use some low-cut eq.

low-cut = cut or reduce low frequencies :)
