What would be the best Price vs Quality Core i5 Processor?

    Hello guys.

I'll get straight to the thing, no wasting time. I personally own an i7 2600K, but I am looking to help a good friend, and he wants to stay within a 200€ processor budget and get a new i5 processor. He's looking for the best Quality >< Price option, and I got no idea how can I help him with that. Ideas guys?

    Best Regards,
    Kevin

I second this. Most people don't need an i7, if he is just using it for home use and even gaming than the i5 is perfect. Let us know if there is anything else.

What does he want to do with the computer? The i5-3570K is a beast, but for downloading music/videos, checking e-mail and surfing the web, it is a mile past overkill.

I would agree as well but while were at it the i7-3770k has dropped a $100.00 since the news of Haswell
