I'm running a Samsung 830 series and it's freaking great, they are long gone in the states but you may find one around in your neck o woods and could be at a nice discount....worth asking some local sources and sites?

I own the Samsung 830, Samsung 840 pro and the Crucial. My take on them is, the 840 Pro will out benchmark either one of the others, but mostly because of the higher write speeds. The read speeds on all of them are pretty similar. But, I'm sure Alan owns them too and I agree with him, go with the Samsung 840 Pro rather with the lower priced 840.

PSU: As much as I like that power supply, it is a country mile more than what you'll ever use. Save some money and get something a little more suited to your needs. This is closer to what you need: SeaSonic X650 Gold

HDD: The Seagate 1TB drives are nice, but the sweet spot for capacity/price is probably either the 2 or 3TB model. Actually, I just bought some of the new Seagate 4TB hard drives on sale from Newegg @ $150 each. I know you think you will never use 1TB, but you will probably find that you will, and it is easier to go ahead and buy a bigger drive than buy another drive later and go through testing, and transferring data if you decide to. For just a few dollars more than the 1TB model, you can get double the capacity. At least get the 2TB HDD if not bigger. Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro, OCZ Vector, Plextor M5 Pro, OCZ Vertex 4, Corsair Neutron GTX, Crucial M4. Any of those will blow your mind. They are all reliable, and some of the fastest on the market. Best advice for an SSD is stay away from any with a Sandforce controller, which none of those I listed have.

CPU Cooler: The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is probably the best bang for the buck cooler out there. Many people like the Hyper 212 Plus, but I think the newer EVO is better.....and currently cheaper. Just make sure your case has enough internal depth for it. Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Those are the changes I would make........everything else looks great.

Amazon has the 840 Pro for less:
Amazon.com: Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 256 GB SATA 6GB/s Solid State Drive MZ-7PD256BW: Computers & Accessories

It might be a good idea to wait on the CPU cooler, so the final measurement's can be taken after everything is in the case. It will prevent $$ being wasted on a RMA.

Well I have another computer shop that is close by, and I might be able to get a more powerful gaming computer from there for a cheaper price, but I might have to get some stuff from Newegg. Is it okay if someone could help me pick out some parts for my computer? My budget is below $900. :)

Okay I have been reading this thread for 3 days. What did I miss. Was the first 66 post just a test or what?

I am just choosing parts to find whats best for gaming, but I need help finding parts. But since my budget is around $900, and I pretty much passed it, but then I remembered that my local computer store, had some parts for a cheaper price so I thought if I could get some parts cheaper there, maybe I could get a whole computer built from buying parts from both Newegg and OTV to get a better deal, because the whole time I was looking at Newegg. If you know what I mean

P.S. The first part was not a test.
