Hey I am away from home at the moment and my Ivy has the magician but from memory I can't remember what to do so will post back tomorrow..

Samsung Magician is simply Samsungs, 'toolbox' and suggests how o run the SSD for what they consider to be the best for performance. I'm not familar with Windows Server, but suspect it works similar to Windows 7. You do need to be in AHCI mode. The tutorial Dude provided should work well, and will not affect any of your other drives unless they are in raid on the same controller. AHCI will give the SSD the best performance. I pretty much use the suggested settings Samsung Magician suggests. But, you don't have to.

Disabling hibernation is a good idea if you don't use it, it will save you space on the SSD.
Overprovisioning is simply allowing more space for the ssd to replace ant sectors thatmay go bad or be used up, providing longer life. Many people don't use it as the ssd has extra space for that purpose. It just provides more. I use it as I have plenty of space on my ssd, so it has little affect on me. Virtual memory is used but if you have a lot of ram, you can reduce it to save more space on the SSD. I think most of the other stuff is simply personal preference, but depends on how you use the machine.
