A question about CPU coolers

I'm not sure which CPU cooler to get for my new gaming rig. Two that I am considering are
COOLER MASTER GeminII S524 120mm Long Life Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with Intel 2011/1366/1155/775 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM3+ - Newegg.com
and
SILVERSTONE NT06-PRO Low Profile CPU Cooler with Thin 120mm fan - Newegg.com
Any help would be most welcome.

I don't think it will fit in the laptop you have in your spec's.

Going by the spec's for the case :Phantom 820 - NZXT

Either one should fit, as far as height is concerned.

I suggest you to read these two reviews for noise and size and pics and whatnot:
Silvestone cooler
Cooler Master cooler

Seems like the Cooler Master one has been tested on an older i7 870, although both the 870 and the 2500k have the same TDP of 95 watts. So it would seem that the Cooler Master did keep the CPU 10 degrees cooler than the Silverstone.
