Hello Jassie, and welcome to Seven Forums.
Go ahead and delete the \DosDevices\L: Binary vaule to see if the drive will be seen as K after restarting the computer.
If not, then see if you may be able to use OPTION TWO or OPTION THREE in the tutorial below to change it back to K.

Hope this helps, :)

Did this. But with the cmd part. It says letter K is in use. But I don't see it?
In that case, delete both the K and L entries in the registry to start fresh, and restart the computer. Check to see what drive letter is automatically assigned to the external hard drive, and go from there to change it if needed.
As you can see here, no letter K.
Removed both entries too. But the L just keeps refreshing.
That's ok. What letter is it giving the external HDD? L: ??
If so, then you should be able to use OPTION TWO to change L to K, or OPTION THREE to assign K to the L volume.
Don't work. It says K is alreadt in use? Wtf?
And my HDD is now L, but I want K
Please post some more screenshots of your Disk Management window and the registry like above again showing all drive letters to see if K is listed.
Did you restart the computer after deleting K and L from the registry?
