My computer still beeps twice even after I secured the ram

I have a Dell Inspiron 560 and four ram slots: Kingston 1gb 1rx8 pc3-10600u and I secured the cards into the slot and my computer still beeps twice and glows amber, my manual says its that the ram is not detected my computer was fine until my brother was messing with the cards and he replaced them with another computer's but put them back and BTW the computer just got took into repair and no they are not damaged.

    Welcome gtaiv,

Try booting the computer with only one ram memory stick at a time to see if any of them work. Make sure the little notch on the ram stick matches the tab in the memory slot.

    Wait a minute...
Are you saying that you took the computer to a repair shop because it would not boot due to a "no RAM detected" error code and they gave it back to you, still not booting, and told you that "the RAM is not damaged"?

    Hi gtaiv,

    Welcome to the Seven forums.

It could be a problem with the memory slot as well. To isolate the issue kindly connect individual memory in each slot and check to find out the fault.

If the system is under warranty then please contact me through a private message and provide me with the service tag and contact information so I may access your system records.

And, if the system is out of warranty then you contact our Expired Warranty Support at the link below:
