Asus routers are very nice. I got the Asus RT-N66R(Retail model of the RT-N66U) and it is phenomenal. What makes up your home network?

I am asking on behalf of my sister,
she has an old desktop running XP and has decided to replace it with a new laptop.
The desktop connects with a wired modem but she wants to be able to use the laptop wireless.
