Assuming that they are in working condition, those two guys are good general-purpose CPUs although not anywhere near the top of the scale. 15 bucks apiece is a low price for them.
Look here. Use their score to compare to other CPUs you have that they benchmarked. Your current processor is here.

Also, from here there are more comparisons. It appears to be around 1/3 the power of a modern top-dog CPU.

Still, please note that they are compatible with AM2+ and maybe AM3 sockets ONLY (being from AMD), so you won't be able to place them in your current PC nor use your current CPU cooler on them.
Then again, good AM2+ boards can be found for pretty damn cheap in thrift shops (look inside the used PCs they have too) or on ebay.

hey bobafetthotmail, these are still sealed in a blister wrap so i believe them to be new. i have some asus motherboards m4a785-m that i know work so i am good there. yeah they anin't nothing special but they will make a good desktop for my kids and i don't have alot of money in my spare parts boxes. i just couldn't pass them up for that price. i just didn't know anything about them and never heard anything about them. i like odd ball stuff. poorguy

Yeah, they were a "failed" attempt at doing better than the socket 775 Intel dual-cores without making a full-blown quad-core. Still, a good processor for a very low price. Heck, I would have bought them too.

hey bobafetthotmail, yeah without knowing anything about them i figured i'd take a chance. just put one together today and at stock clock i am pretty impressed. never new anything about them. running 8gb of ddr2 ram vista 64 bit operating system and ati radeon integrated graphics till i find my extra video cards motherboard is asus m4a785-m. don't have nothing but time and $15.00 in them. gonna give them to my kids and let them fill them up with malware and viruses. the other one i might put a real heatsink fan on and see how overclocking they are. can't really find anything on them other then they were a 4 core with with a disabled core for what ever reason. seem to be ok so far. hell i like odd ball stuff anyway. poorguy
