Is there a way to Flash BIOS to support UEFI secureboot?

I have Dell XPS L502x (i7, 8GB, 750GB, 2GB nVidia GT 540m) with Intel Huron River HM67 Chipset.Win7 Home Premium x64.
I have classical BIOS with no secureboot.
Can I use the new UEFI feature which supports secureboot, GPT disks, multiple primary partitions, etc.

Hi there!

I don't believe there is an easy way to do it. But your best bet would be here (UEFI) Dell XPS 15z L511z modded BIOS - and HOWTO

But I don't wanna risk my $800 by doing this.

+1 It's not recommended if you're not sure what you're doing

Why you want that? secureboot is not necessary regardless of what MS says (and an annoyance if you want to multi-boot or use something that isn't windows 8), MBR can support up to 2 TB disks (the only reason to switch to GPT would be if you need to use a system drive bigger than 2 TB) and 4 primary partitions (one of those can be made "extended partition" and then you can have as much logical partitions as you want).

Anyway, unless dell does a bios update themselves, you can't get those features (other than modding the bios yourself, but it's complex as you noticed).
