Why is your dvd burner listed as a SCSI devise? It should be listed as a SATA devise. I would look at the BIOS settings.
.
me too , mean i did not understand why is listed as scsi device
which motherboard do you have?
i have lots of settings in the bios , i don't even know where should i loot at
thanks
What mobo do you have?
With my BIOS I would look under "System">"ATA Port Information"
You want the on board eSATA controller set as "Enable" and the controller set to "IDE Mode" or "AHCI Mode"
Look under "Peripherals" for additional SATA setup parameters.
an asus
but it's odd because now i got it's the bios
sometime my dvd start up and i can see it in the list sometime it's not in the list
weird

If it's intermittently showing in BIOS it could possibly be a connection problem. Inspect the sata cable ends, maybe you picked up a small piece of debris. Try a different sata port on the mobo? Bad cable?

We used Zinstall HDD by-the-way and I would highly recommend this application...
My SSD firmware updater needs to do it in DOS. To be recognized in DOS, my HD has to be interfaced temporary in IDE.
I went through all menus and submenus, but I didn't find way to do it in BIOS. Any clue?
Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong section, but i'm looking to upgrade from a HDD to SSD. I've been reading online about my board and apparently the marvell 9128 controller sucks speed wise. My mobo is Asus M2N,it has SATA connectors, and I have connected one WD SATA II HDD,it works just fine.
I'd like to know if this mobo supports SATA III HDDs.My priority at...
