    my webcams showing strange colors


    i was cleaning my laptop yesterday. and my built in mini webcam got bumped by a coke can(very smally bumped without a lot of force). so now when i try to use face recognition it shows "unable to process bio metric data". when i try to call someone using Skype ,instead of my moving live picture, there are colors striped ,dark blue,red,pink,light green,light blue,yellow and white. my laptop details:M11x R2 Specs & Latest News | Alienware | The Verge

    What does it look like? This?

    Looks like that small bump was big enough to completly brake your camera.. Im afraid there's no software fix for this, you'll probably be off with a new webcam.

    Is there any visual damage if you look closely at the webcam?

    When I go to testmycam.com ,they detect the webcam but instead of the picture green color is shown
