windows detected a hard drive problem

keep getting this message pop up every few minutes 'Windows detected a hard drive problem'.
I ran a disc check and it found no problems with the disc. Should I take this message as gospel and invest in a new drive...there is a lot of data on this drive that I dont want to lose.
Message attached and disc check results attached

    Hi whatfor,

I apologize for all the inconvenience this issue has caused and promise you that I will do my best to resolve this issue to your satisfaction.

Kindly run the diagnostics on harddrive of the system following the link below:

This would confirm if the harddrive has failed or not. Please keep us posted with the results.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.

I just want to add that the FIRST thing you should do in a case like this is back up your data.

The reason for this is IF you have an actual problem the diagnostic test may be the last thing you do with the drive.

Required nag: You should have your important data backed up anyway. If it is not backed up, it is not important!
