Back in the day, the high-performance thermal compounds were conductive (and low-end "compounds" were straight silicon grease). That's because they were basically silicon grease with some metallic dust inside (usually silver). Dynex Silver is from that era. That is, it's from 2004-2006 I think.
If they didn't change formula of course, but being cheap I doubt it.

I saw a lot of fried mobos because rookies screwed up conductive thermal paste application (and spent a lot of quality time cleaning my own mistakes to make sure I didn't kill anything).
