Glad you asked, Running Prime at 4400. Voltage is 1.264, max temp so far is 73C.

Awesome! That's a pretty good voltage for 4.4GHz. With an Adaptive Vcore you could probably get that down closer to 1.24-1.250v. You are using a manual voltage currently, right?

Nah, I have voltage on Auto. Odd thing I think, is at idle CPU goes to 800MHz-1100MHz and the voltage, according to CPUz I've seen as low as 0.016V

I would try a manual voltage of 1.250 with a multiplier of 44 and see if that is stable. Then it's just a matter of +/- after that

It'll be a work in progress.
I can only get 25,000 or so in winsat now at 4400 and RAM at 2200.
My initial run, CPU untouched but RAM bumped I got a tad over 30,000, I may have damaged the internal memory controller (IMC)
I can still RMA the board and CPU though.

Have you tinkered with the Caching frequency?

No I haven't, I have no idea what it does yet. I still have to watch the rest of the video you linked to. The CPU Strap they talked about looks like something to fool with.
Here's an example of low volts.

LOL. That is strange! The CPU strap works like a BCLK or FSB. It compliments the multiplier to reach a final frequency. Luckily, there is less that needs to be messed with on a Z87 board than other platforms. Setting it to Manual/XMP, setting the multiplier and setting a CPU voltage and that's pretty much it.

I have lapped my 212 EVO cooler in hope of losing a degree or two. No, I didn't lap the CPU.

Looks good Gary! I wouldn't touch the CPU unless Intel sent it out with grooves cut into it lol.
