Weird issue with Logitech G700, corrupting CMOS battery on motherboard
Whenever I use this specific mouse wired or wireless, a strange issue occurs where I cannot move windows around or click the taskbar until I ctrl+alt+del, I also would be unable too click certain things issues with things such as USB ports not working suddenly started to pop up so I googled the problem and found out that the CMOS battery was corrupted somehow. I know this issue isn't to do with Windows as the problem persisted when I reinstalled Windows and even occurred when using the Windows installation disk.
The problems disappeared as soon as I replaced the mouse with another one, is there any solution to this rather odd issue? Could it be the CMOS battery in the motherboard getting older and needing replacing? The PC is around 2 years old.
