ATA drives not showing up

H Gang

I have a couple of ATA DVD drives that will not show up with Win 7RC. They show up in the Bios, but when I click on my computer the only thing that shows up is the HD. I have changed the cable, no change. They are getting voltage, the door opens. I know these are good drives.

Thanx...Gunny

Go into "disk management" right click "my computer" and click "manage" and see if they are "offline" if so just right click on the DVD and click "online" At least see what the status they are in.
