Devices and Printers window erroneously shows my computer as a laptop
I had a weird problem I just noticed today, In the devices and printers window my computer is somehow listed as a laptop, when it is a desktop. As seen here Before the icon was the generic desktop icon, the thing is I can remember exactly when it changed or what caused it to change like that. I searched around and found this tool On Windows 7 icons for WSD devices may show up incorrectly as a different class under Devices and Printers which seemed to fix the problem, briefly, then it reverted back to the laptop icon, what's weird is I ran the tool again, but turned off my wireless so any information about the devices could not be downloaded, and the icon looked normal. Then I turned the wireless back on and it went back to the laptop icon. How can I fix this?
