I had confirmation by SugarSync that root\sscbfs_storlib_bus3 is indeed related to SugarSync.

But I discovered that lots of my folders were empty and that lots of my files were now in the deleted files. I googled the subject and found out that I was not the only one it happened to.

I am warning you, Maxie, because you wrote: "As i use that program too but never had any problems"

Before I realised that lots of my files had disappeared they offered me a remote session to help me reinstall SugarSync that I had uninstalled and could not reinstall (message SugarSyncSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application - I am running Win7 64bit). Then I decided to transfer my remaining files to another Cloud storage and am presently doing so. When done, I'll delete the SugarSync folder, reboot and if the unknown device is still there I'll remove it, now that I know for sure that it is a SugarSync ghost. I may take their offer of remote session afterwards in order to recover all my deleted files. I'll keep you posted.

I was able to restore all my files but couldn't process them properly because I couldn't download them into my laptop in one go so I had to accept their remote session. They reinstalled SugarSync manager and now I have over 500 files to process but at least I can work on them. I deleted the unknown device in the device manager. Thank you for your kind help.
