Asus touch pad config issues: Middle Click and scroll bars.
I just moved off of my old machine (the screen broke loose) and onto a new Asus laptop. I normally run with tap-to-click turned off, so I use the buttons extensively and don't like the pinch, two finger scroll commands etc. I use middle click most often, and I was hoping I could just go into the mouse config, but it doesn't have any real button options.
I searched around and found this option through seven forums (which is why I downloaded it). However, it seems to have the problem that it both middle clicks and left clicks at the same time. I can't seem to find a set of commands that let me override what the touch pad does.
From what I can tell they both use synaptics drivers, so I was hoping they had compatible mouse pad configuration settings, but they don't. Is there a synaptics widget I can get that will let me do whatever I want with the commands, or at least allow me to get it to work like it did in the past?
