    Epson printer

    Hi

I reset my laptop to factory settings and all is well, except for my printer. It is Epson SX235W and was working well before reset.

I cannot find the installation disc. Printer was connected wirelessly without any problem. The laptop has detected the printer and when trying to finish installation I get a picture of my printer with a troubleshooting triangle. When Windows tries to fix I get this message WSD print device doesn't have a driver. I tried the Epson UK site but it is down for mantainance, any ideas?

    Thanks

Thanks for the replies.I followed the set up and got an error stating drivers not installed, yet they were downloaded! Should I reset printer to factory settings and try a fresh install?

Use this link. Drivers & Support - Epson Stylus SX235W - Epson
With Epson I always install the minimum software required, only the basic printer software, to avoid compatibility issues.

Printers can be very finicky animals to install and each manufacturer has their own particular way of doing the install.

If you don't have the startup guide it is here: Epson Stylus SX235W*:*Startup Guide*1.0 I suggest you download, print it, and follow it to the letter.
