    Would this be possible?

To hook up a Nintendo Wii to a computer monitor with this cable? I just want to make sure that it doesn't have to be a special kind of cable or anything?

I have already seen that, but I want a cheaper option, so would the cable that I linked too work?

It should work, but I have never tested it. You would need speakers though, by as for video it should work.

I can handle setting up the speakers, its just that some video cords only go one way so i wanted to make sure before i order it. Its cheap also so if it doesn't work not that big of a loss.
