Checking previously installed hardware logs
Hi
I was wondering whether or not it is possible to check previously installed hardware on a computer. I believe that my laptop was supposed to come with 4GB of RAM, and as of recently I have noticed it with 2GB. If there is a way to check hardware logs I'd be able to see whether or not it came with 4GB and would be able to check when it vanished.
Otherwise, I submitted it for repairs a while back, and during the duration of the repairs, the computer updated its Windows Experience Index. When does this happen? The repairs involved replacing the keyboard and I'm wondering if a hardware change like this would cause the experience index to automatically retest. If not, then either they ran a test [which is entirely possible, but I'm not sure why they'd need to] or this was caused by the removal of some physical hardware [does that trigger an automatic update?]
This would be really helpful, if you need information regarding the specs of the PC just ask, but the laptop was an Asus VX6s.
Thanks
