HP Scanning Not Working......!!!

In one of my customer's computer scanning gives an error: scanning software was launched with improper command-line arguments. Have no issues printing documents though.

Product:
HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer - A909a (Wireless)


Steps tried:
Uninstalled the software completely and reinstalled it

In solution Centre the Scan picture and Scan document option is greyed out.
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the product on network or connected with USB cable ? If on network, what other devices are involved. There is a distinct chance of flaky wireless or firewall interrupting the communication between PC and printer. Please provide some more details on the environment.

You can try this as well.

After installing printer drivers, uninstall the HP Solution Center Software, reboot, and then do a fresh install of that software from the HP website.

Well it's connected via wireless. And no other device connected except the computer. Tried uninstalling solution centre and reinstalled it. Still didnt work, same error.

Hi there .. You should try getting your Printer working 100% before using WiFi .. Connect the printer by using the USB cable see if it works that way .. Also have you tried using other software to scan by Twain .. You could also try the HP Diagnostic Tools it may help with the problem
