how to syncronize touchpad with screen

how do i syncronize my touchpad to my screen. I dont know what it is really caled but i want my touchpad to, when i touch the top left corner of the pad, the mouse will jump to that location. If i tap the center, the mouse will move to the center. is there a function for that? please help.

edit: its called absolute positioning. can someone help me figure out how to turn it on?
