CHKDSK /F halts on checking HD

    It can run in any room, turn the monitor off so there's no light to disturb you.

    Only the casevents, all other components are lownoise. I needed to install another one, because the Summer in Southern Bavaria was very hot.

    The CHDSK from O&O Defrag 17 Professional (different to the Winows one) says:
    "the index entry of a File is wrong".

    How can I repair a Index entry respectivily clean an error from the MFT?
    Sometimes my PC freezes and I must restet him.

    I found the switches for CHDSK form Shawn. I will try them later.

    I suspect you will have to let w7 chkdsk /f run to completion and see if that will fix it.
    Also, did you ever urn the Windows defragger? Do so if not.

    I have O&O Defrag installed.
    It replaced the Windows Defrag
