Every time Windows 7 Premium automatically updates, my HP1300 Laser printer will not work with any software. The printer will print a Test Page, but any program that tries to print to it will fall into a endless loop and stop functioning. I have to kill the process through Task Manager. Then, I have to unplug the USB, remove the printer from my devices, reboot the computer (still unplugged) and upon Restart, plug the USB in and allow the system to "find" and reconfigure the printer.
The printer works until the next update. This is very annoying and often, I don't even know when it is going to happen, since I am setup for automatic updates. Many times, I find out only after trying to print something. I have searched Microsoft Support but have not found any answer to this.
