    motherboard

ive recently reinstalled windows 7 so now i need to identify my motherboard in order to get new ethernet drivers
else i cant acces the internet.
but by looking at my motherboard the only information ive been able to find is what i think is my bios and some other numbers.

first number / the one i think is my bios: 686 am bios xu11 5228
    second number: MBSD10900100402650EK00
    third number: PCH57D01P8 - 1.0 - 8EKS3H

hope there is some use of the numbers here or one of you can give me a decent motherboard identifier that can run on a completely fresh installation of windows 7

    regards Thariin

From your other posts it seems like you have an HP. If you goto their website from another PC and enter in your model number you should be able to get the drivers you need.

Yep xunile mate that is what I said you don't even need the HP site just the model say for example HP G6-2208AU Notebook and type that into a Google search.

So what we need is HP **** **** etc etc then click onto it's specs:)

Most ethernet drivers are usually realtek or intel, which you can download from ....

The only real problem network driver I`ve ever come across is a Dell, which you would then just go to dell.com and punch in your model.
