Probably the best (easiest) way would be get a SATA power connector that has the wires on it. Cut off the wires of the broken plug and splice (solder) the wires from the new plug (make sure you connect the wires correctly) to the wires from the power supply for the broken plug. Be sure to properly insulate each of the spliced connections.

I don't know if you can buy a connector with wires, but you can get a PATA (IDE) power connector to SATA adapter and use the wires and SATA connector from that. '

Here is an adapter listed on e-bay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-IDE-Mole...item2c65d55ab9

If you have the patience and the pins aren't damaged, you can remove the pins from the broken plug and plug them into a new body. Pin removal tools are inexpensive but do require a bit of practice to get the hang of using but, in this case, since the plug is already broken, you might be able to "finish" breaking it to liberate the pins so you can put them in a new connector body.

i think ill probably just change the body of the plug like fitzgerald says. did a little research, seems as easy as pie.

If you can't reuse the old pins in a new connector body, if you don't mind a 90° connector, you could just cut off the old pins and use a punch-down type connector (Plan B). Plan C would be to cut off the old pins, and crimp on new pins for a straight connector body.

How about using a Sata_Y splitter on one of your other good PSU lead cables ?
