Hi there
I only *Think* an alienware machine might be able to - but the size of those things -- You are probably too young to remember when laptops first started appearing. They were known as "Luggables" back then -- Alienware - although magnificent machines very definitely belong to the "Luggable" category - total impracticable for any sort of portability.

I found one that is 32GB for $1400 Asus Rog Gaming G51J 15 6"3D Intel i7 32GB 1 5TB NVIDIA Bluray Beats Alienware | eBay

Can anyone find any one lower than that? I see a lot of the alienwares are over $2000.. wow.

I also found an Alienware 32gb for $1800 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alienware-M1...item1e81c9163b

Just curious: what do you need to run on that laptop that could need 32GB RAM and justify the added expense?

There will be plenty of custom build specialists out there that will sell machines with virtually like for like specs as Alienware for much cheaper.

With 32 GB RAM we are talking a high end computer. It would be silly to provide for 32 GB RAM on anything else. High end doesn't come cheap.

If you need 32GBs of RAM, I would really recommend a desktop. That would be a lot cheaper - especiall if you build it yourself. Then you could benefit from the many discounted component offerings from e.g. Newegg.

I'm also wondering why the OP needs (or thinks he needs) 32GB.

Agreed, high end doesn't some cheap. But to get my high end spec from Alienware would cost a hell of a lot more than I paid for mine. The Aurora for instance comes in at £400 more than I paid, the only differences being an i7-4930k and 8GB more RAM, 3TB less HDD space and as far as I can see unbranded HDDs and PSU. Plus I have a Sabertooth Z87 motherboard WD Caviar HDDS and a Gold Modular Corsair PSU.

I completely agree that quality costs, but you can get just as good quality for less if you shop around.

I can't imagine what someone would need 32GB for. Even in recording studio systems and people that load lots of MIDI tracks, even those don't even max out 16GB.
