Need router suggestion for Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205?

I just picked up a Dell Latitude e6530 with a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wifi Card.

My current wireless router goes up to 54 Mbps, This new card can go up to 300 Mbps.

I've done speed tests to determine upload/download speeds and found out I am: Download of 17.54 Mbps and upload of 1.20 Mbps.

My cable modem is a motorrola cable modem.

Any suggestions so i can get the most out of this new wifi card would be appreciated.

Hmm apart from a new modem/ router there isn't anything that will make the old one faster.
If I might suggest I like TP-Link gear and here are some that might make your day.

Newegg.com - TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n
TP-LINK TL-WDR3600 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router - Newegg.com

The D-Link stuff I quite like too.

I have the Asus RT-N66U and it is an absolute beast of a router. It will provide a theoretical limit of 450Mbps on the 2.4GHz AND 5GHz. It should definitely handle what you have and may have for years.

Yep Kelly that first TP-Link is up to ac not as good as yours but cheap for what you get and the security is spot on with my TP-Link gear
