Windows 7: Copying files to USB flash memory freezes win7

Hi guys,

another annoying thing..
Just wanted to copy some file to microSD over memory card reader. (I've tried two different memory readers)
I have two mice, MX revolution which is being used at all times and MX Air, the secondary mouse when I sit on sofa. As soon as I start copying files MX revolution stops working, mx air still works and that's how I managed to post my issue.

This is what happens with cpu



and there are no processes that use so much power.

There is nothing that seems I can do, only rebooting helps.
I am really annoyed. I can't do simple task

Sounds like a possible power issue...the USB turns off the extra device so the new inserted device has enough juice to perform the task

Try updating the chipset drivers and see if that fixes it

It seems that there are latest chipset drivers installed.
What I did i got new usb pci card for £9.99 and tried to copy files via this pci card and it work just fine. Then I tried to copy files via motherboard usb and it worked as well.

Do you know what could be the issue?
