Hello,

The GTX 660 has a recommended minimum power supply of 450 Watt and the GTX 760 a 500 watt minimum. You are playing it pretty close even for the 660. I would recommend a more powerful PSU.

Paul.

I agree with Paul. You need a larger Power Supply. Also, as far as the GPU, I don't know what prices are where you are, but the 760 will cost you here about $50-$100 more. But, you will get better performance from the 760 than the 660 plus it is a newer generation and will be supported longer.

Along with a better power supply, I would get a 2x4GB kit of RAM instead of 1 single 8GB stick......so you can run in dual channel mode

With 2 sticks of ram you can run in dual chanel mode. With 1 stick you can only run single chanel mode. Dual chanel is much faster and more efficient. You can do 2 X *GB if you want 8GB Sticks and your motherboard can handle 8 GB sticks, but few people need 16GB of ram. It is not the amount of ram the post was about, it was running 2 sticks rather than 1. You will get much better performance.
