USB not showing on boot menu

Hello,
I decide to install windows xp into my PC via USB device just install WinXP ISO image to USB with the help of refus software but I can't find USB device in boot menu how can I fix this issue ...?

I have P4 old mechine FUJITSU SIEMENS running currently Windows 7 ... waiting for your response.

i ' m having the same problem on my p3 pc as well . it ' s a very old machine and has award BIOS . the board has no usb ports . need some help in the same issue too ...

1. Can you get into BIOS setup and enumerate the boot priorities available?

2. What prevents you from installing the OS from an optical drive? ( I presume your m/c has one.)

It is quite obvious that if you have no USB ports, you cannot use any USB device. Install from the optical drive.

If it's not listed on the Menu the MBoard doesn't support booting to USB...

zino0001, you still haven't answered my query in post #4.

MY BIOS didn't detect optical drive in boot menu thats the problem!

Check to see if there's a BIOS update for your board.
