My Laptop suddenly does not recognize my DVD/CD drive?

Just stopped seeing anything. I tried updating driver but it couldn't find the hardware to install it on.
I did that in Device manager.

Any ideas, other than going to best buy and getting a usb connected drive?
    Thanks,
    Bill

Print and Video are the only subclasses under the control file.

You should have quite a few keys under Class:

I got it running. Thanks so much for your help. I was almost in panic mode.

Glad that you got it working again. Nearly every time I uninstall iTunes from a computer, the CD/DVD goes missing. I've had to delete those upper and lower filters many times over the last decade or so.
